In the interview symposium in July 2019 NRW Ministry for Culture and Research selected 5 other scientists who for the next five years will run their junior groups in the universities and research institutes of the region. I am extremely happy that the ideas about using new machine learning methods for quantification of visual information in biology has appealed to the committee.
